nice, heavy, solid bit set, with decent delivery time too. this set contains every bit you could possibly ever need, and then some.
I would definitly recommend this product to others needing these types of bits. was very impressed with how heavy the set is, and how quickly I received it. very impressed with this product. was not expecting anything quality for the price.
A bit overkill for one use, but I might go tear apart a public restroom or unleash some other form of mayhem. I needed to do some body work on a 360 controller and rather than be foiled by a Torx security (#8) screw, I picked these up Harbor Freight. The screws are set deeply (as they often are for such electronics), but the bits have a decent depth before they revert to the full hex shaft.
The bit did the trick, I removed, cleaned and reinstalled my MAF, and my 2000 Ford Ranger is running like new. I ordered it for the Torx Security Bits, so I could remove my MAF (Mass Air Flow), and be able to clean it. My "Check Engine" light was on and my truck was stalling and running poor. Fast shipping. Light duty, perhaps, but a happy customer, nevertheless. I was quite happy with the variety and quality of the bits. Ordered on Wednesday, received the following Tuesday. Nice long bits.
I had to get a pair of pliers to remove any of the bits and it took a large amount of effort to remove the corner bits too. I was leery about buying this product after reading a review on how this set of bits wears out so easily but for home use it works perfectly and I see no evidence of wear and tear. Given the price it is a very, VERY good buy. After removing and replacing the bits in the case repeatedly it does get easier and I hope that soon I won't even need to use a pair of pliers at all. I've taken apart and put back together my Xbox dozens of times (using the Torx 10 and 20 security bits) within a short amount of time and it has been very useful. My only concern is how hard it is to take the bits out of the case.
